Announcement of the KV Class 1 Admissions for 2023-24
It is expected that the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will announce admissions to more than 1200 Kendriya Vidyalaya schools in India for class 1 in the end of February 2023. KVS Class 1 Eligibility Age for Admission 2023-24
In order to be eligible for admission to Class 1 at a Kendriya Vidyalaya in 2023-24, the applicant must be aged between 6 to 8 years. The applicant must be 6 years or older on the 31st of March the year of application. The upper age limit for admission is 8 years.
KVS Admission Notification 2023-24
The Kendriya Vidyalaya admission notification is predicted to be released during February or March of the year. For those wishing to apply for admission to the Kendriya Vidyalaya for Class 1, Class 9, or Class 11, it is recommended that they monitor the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya. KV School Admission Schedule 2023-24

For classes 2 through 9, visit the nearest KV school. Additionally, the admission form can be downloaded online and should be filled out as soon as possible. Please note that the due date for submission of the admission forms is estimated to be 18 or 20 days following the release of the admission schedule.
KV School Admission Process 2023-24
Enrolling in a Kendriya Vidyalaya is a straightforward process. To ensure the admission of Grade 1 students, the Central Government’s reservation policy is strictly followed in all Kendriya Vidyalaya schools. 15%, 7.5%, and 27% of the available places are respectively allocated to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL). Additionally, 3% of the total accessible seats for new entry are horizontally reserved as per the provisions of the RTE Act, 2009, for children with special needs.
KV School Admission Required Documents 2023-24
Prior to submitting the online registration form, applicants must make sure to gather all necessary documents: proof of age and proof of current residence (Voter ID card, electricity bill, ration card, birth certificate, or transfer certificate). For the 2023-24 school year, the KVS will randomly select students for admission to Grade 1. KV School Fee Structure 2023-24
The Kendriya Vidyalaya school fee for Class 1 students is set at Rs. 500 per student per month. This fee is non-refundable. Those selected under the Right to Education (RTE) Act quota in all Kendriya Vidyalaya institutions will be exempt from paying any fee. In addition, single female children are not included in the fee structure. Furthermore, there are various exemptions available for wards of Armed Forces Personnel and Ex-Servicemen.
