The following are the guidelines issued to regulate admissions in the Kendriya Vidyalaya for the academic year 2022-23.
1. CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES
A person who is regularly employed at the post sanctioned by the Government in a substantive capacity, and his salary is drawn from the Consolidated Fund of India.
2. TRANSFERABLE
Employees who have been transferred at least once in the past 7 years are considered transferable.
3. TRANSFER
Generally, an employee is considered transferred if he or she is transferred from one place/urban agglomeration to another at least 20 kms apart and if he or she has remained at the new place for at least 6 months.
4. AUTONOMOUS BODIES I PUBLIC SECTOR UNDERTAKINGS
Autonomous bodies or public sector undertakings are organizations that are fully financed by the government or whose government share exceeds 51%.
5. SINGLE GIRL CHILD
The term single girl child refers to a child who is the only child of the parents, with no other siblings.
