1. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe And Other Backward Classes Category
In all new admissions to Kendriya Vidyalaya, 15% of seats would be allocated for Scheduled Castes, 7.5 percent for Scheduled Tribes, and 27% for Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL).
2. Differently Abled Category
According to the regulations of the RTE Act, 3% of total available seats for fresh admission will be designated horizontally for differently abled students. Read in combination with the 1995 Act on Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunity, Protection of Rights, and Full Participation).
