KV School Admission 2023-24 Class 1 Registration Process Started – Notification, Guidelines Announced
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has released the admission notification, schedule, and guidelines for the academic year 2023-24. Online registrations for admission to Class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalayas will begin on 27.03.2023 at 10:00 am and will end on 17.04.2023 at 07:00 pm. Interested parents can visit the official website, https://kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in, or download the Android Mobile App to apply.
To be eligible for Class 1 admission, children should be at least 6 years old as of 31.03.2023. Parents can refer to the KVS Admission Guidelines 2023-24, available on the website, for information about seat reservations.
For Class 2 and above, offline registrations will be accepted only if vacancies exist. The registration period is from 03.04.2023 to 12.04.2023. Parents can check their respective Kendriya Vidyalaya websites for more details and submit the duly filled-up form to the Principal’s office.
It is important to provide accurate and genuine information in the registration form. Any discrepancies discovered during the scrutiny process may lead to the cancellation of admission. Parents are requested to contact the Principal or Admission In-charge only during the given time slot.
KVS Class 1 Age Eligibility 2023-24
The eligible age for admission in KV School for the academic year 2023-24 has been provided for different classes. To be eligible for Class I admission, a child must be 6 years old as of March 31st of that year (including those born on April 1st). The minimum and maximum age limits for admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas are as follows, with the understanding that children born on April 1st should also be considered: Class I: 6-8 years, Class II: 7-9 years, Class III: 7-9 years, Class IV: 8-10 years, Class V: 9-11 years, Class VI: 10-12 years, Class VII: 11-13 years, Class VIII: 12-14 years, Class IX: 13-15 years, Class X: 14-16 years.
