As per the KVS notification, the summer break is set to begin on 8th May 2023, and come to a close on 16th June 2023, affording students a lavish 40-day respite.

The list below details the holidays earmarked for Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools in 2023. It is pertinent to note that each regional office of KVS will publish the respective holiday list applicable to schools within its jurisdiction. The summer vacation schedule is eagerly anticipated to commence on May 8th, 2023 (Monday) and will last till June 16th, 2023 (Friday), offering students a whopping 40 days of fun-filled leisure time.

In addition to the summer vacation, there’s an autumn break that will run from October 20th, 2023 (Friday) to October 29th, 2023 (Sunday), for ten days of relaxation. Lastly, the winter break will take place from December 25th, 2023 (Monday) until January 13th, 2024 (Saturday), providing students with a total of twenty days to enjoy themselves. So mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable summer vacation!

The KVS Winter Holidays for 2023-24 are scheduled to be celebrated across ten regional offices which include Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Mumbai, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, and Ernakulam.

Three breaks will be granted during the holiday period which comprises of the Summer Vacation lasting for 50 days from May 2, 2023 (Tuesday) to June 20, 2023 (Tuesday); Autumn Break from October 20, 2023 (Friday) to October 29, 2023 (Sunday), for 10 days; and the Winter Break which will be from December 25, 2023 (Monday) to January 3, 2024 (Wednesday), also for a total of 10 days.

Mark your calendars, folks! The Kendriya Vidyalayas in winter destinations in the Dehradun Division have officially announced their holiday dates for the academic year 2023-24. For the Autumn Break, get ready to kick back and relax from October 20, 2023 (Friday) to October 29, 2023 (Sunday), a total of 10 days of vacation time. Meanwhile, the Summer Vacation will start on May 15, 2023 (Monday) and will continue until June 3, 2023 (Saturday), totaling 20 days to soak up the sun. But wait, there’s more!

The Winter Break will begin on December 14, 2023 (Thursday) and conclude on January 22, 2024 (Monday), offering a generous amount of time off for a total of 40 days to spend time with loved ones during the holiday season. However, if you’re located in Leh, Kargil, or Nubra (Ladakh) UTs, you’re in for a treat! These Kendriya Vidyalayas will have an extended Winter Vacation from December 4, 2023 (Monday) to February 11, 2024 (Sunday), giving you a whopping total of 70 days to make the most of your time off.
