Who are given Priorities in KVS Admission 2022-23 | Priorities in Admissions in Kendriya Vidyalaya 2022-23 | Priorities Given for KVS Admission 2022-23
KV School Admissions will be granted based on the following priorities:
Kendriya Vidyalaya Under Civil or Defence Sector
- Children of transferable and non-transferable Central government employees and children of ex- servicemen. Additionally, this would include children of Foreign National officials, who come to India on deputation or transfer by invitation from Government of India.
- A child of a non-transferable or a transferable employee of an autonomous body or public sector undertaking or institution of higher learning under the Government of India or State Government.
- Children of transferable and non-transferable State Government employees.
- Children from any other category including the children of Foreign Nationals who are located in India due to their work or for any personal reasons. Foreign national children will be considered only if no Indian national children are waiting for admission.
KV under Public Sector Undertakings or Institutes of Higher Learning
- Children and grandchildren of sponsors of the Vidyalaya, such as the Project Sector, Institutes of Higher Learning, Post Graduate students who are engaged in long-term research projects, regular Council of Wardens (COW) employees, and retired employees.
Note: Admission preference is given to children of serving employees, grand-children of serving employees, and children and grandchildren of retired employees, in that order.
- A child of a Central government employee, both transferable and non-transferrable, or of an ex-serviceman. Foreign national officials’ children who come on deputation or transfer to India upon invitation by the Government of India will also be included in this category.
- Children of transferable and non-transferable employees of Autonomous Bodies or Public Sector Undertaking or Institute of Higher Learning of the Government of India or State Governments.
- Children of transferable and non-transferable State Government employees.
- Children from any other category including the children of foreign nationals who are located in India due to their work or for any personal reasons. If no children of Indian nationals are on the waitlist for admission, the children of foreign nationals will be considered.
Note: Preference in Admission to wards will be granted based on the number of transfers of the parents in the last 7 years.
