- RTA means the Regional Transport Authority for a particular Revenue District.

- Application in Form no-I coupled with a photocopy of address proof(EPIC preferably), PAN Card, P.Tax, 1-T return, Bank passbook, Coloured Photograph of the applicant is to be submitted before the RTA for a specific route as per the choice of the applicant. Upon hearing before the RTA Board & on the availability of vacancy in the route ( for which permit is applied for), Offer-Letter is issued to the applicant. On completion of registration of the vehicle as per technical specification, Permit is issued on the realization of Govt. Fees.
How Contract Carriage Permit can be obtained?
- Application in Form no-XIII coupled with a photocopy of address proof, PAN Card, P.Tax, I-T return, Bank passbook, Colour Photograph of the applicant is to be submitted before the RTA for the specific regions as per the choice of the applicant. Upon hearing before the RTA Board, Offer-Letter is issued to the applicant. On completion of Registration of the vehicle as per technical specification, Permit is issued on the realization of Govt. Fees.
