Uttarakhand Vehicle Registration Details

Vehicle Registration check online in Uttarakhand: 

For the Registration of the vehicle one has to apply to the Registering Authority with in seven days of purchase along with the following documents.

1. Application in form-20
2. Sale certificate in form-21
3.Form 22 issued by Dealer
4.Valid insurance certificate
5.Proof of Address
6.Temporary registration, if any
7.Form-A under Taxation Act, 1997
8.Fees Specified in Rule 81
9.Passport size photograph
10.In case of imported vehicle, Custom clearance certificate along with the license and bond

For Renewal of RC in Uttarakhand: The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Form 25
2. Registration certificate
3.Insurance certificate
4.Pollution Under Control certificate
5.Fees payment receipt
6.Proof of address

For Duplicate RC in Uttarakhand: The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Form 26
2. Insurance certificate
3.Fees payment receipt
4.Copy of FIR
5.Affidavit stating that RC is lost and has not been impounded

For the Transfer of the Ownership of Motor vehicle in Uttarakhand: The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Form 29 and 30
2. Registration certificate
3.Insurance certificate
4.N.O.C. of the vehicle, if registered outside Uttarakhand
5.Fees as specified in Rule-81
6. Passport size photograph of Purchaser and Seller
7. Tax clearance certificate

Transfer of ownership in case of death in Uttarakhand: The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Form 31
2. Death certificate in relation to the registered owner
3.Certificate of the registration and the insurance
4.Proof of succession
5.Passport size photograph

Vehicle purchase in public Auction in Uttarakhand: The application has to be submitted along with the following documents

1. Form 32
2. Certificate of registration and insurance
3.Certificate of order confirming the sale of vehicle in his favour by the person authorized to conduct the auction
4.Certified copy of the order of the government authorizing the auction of the vehicle
5.Fees specified in Rule-81
6. Passport size photograph of purchaser

For Grant of No Objection Certificate in Uttarakhand: The grant of NOC, one has to apply with the following documents.

1. Form 28 in triplicate
2. Registration Certificate
3.Insurance Certificate
4.Tax clearance Certificate
5.Pollution Under Control certificate
6. Fees payment receipt

For change of Address in RC in Uttarakhand: The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Form 33
2. Insurance Certificate
3. Registration certificate
4. Pollution Under Control certificate
5. Fees payment receipt
6. Proof of address

For Renewal of Fitness Certificate of Vehicle in Uttarakhand: The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Registration Certificate
2. Valid Insurance Certificate
3. Valid Pollution Under Control certificate
4. Proof of Valid Motor Vehicle Tax
5. Copy of Valid Permit or Authorization
6. Letter of Fitment of Speed Limiting Device (SLD) (if applicable)
7. Fees payment receipt
