  • The Vehicle Permit Online issuing authorities in Uttarakhand are as under Given below:

State Transport Authority (S.T.A) in Uttarakhand

  • State Transport Authority is working under Transport Commissioner’s Office situated at Kulhan Sahastradhara Road Dehradun. S.T.A. may issue the permits to all kinds of vehicle within the State and interstate routes. The chairman of S.T.A. is Transport Commissioner.

Regional Transport Authorities (R.T.A) in Uttarakhand

  • There are four R.T.A.’s Working in Uttarakhand for issuing of permits in region. The four R.T.A.’s are as under:
  • Regional Transport Authority( Dehradun) at Dehradun
  • Regional Transport Authority( Pauri) at Pauri
  • Regional Transport Authority( Kumaun) at Haldwani
  • Regional Transport Authority( Almora) at Almora

Guidelines in Uttarakhand

For grant of All India Permit in Uttarakhand: The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Form 45
2. Rs 200/- Court Fees
3. 2 copy of Passport size photograph of Applicant
4. Affidavit on Stamp Paper
5. No Objection Certificate issued by concerning registering authority
6. Proof of address

For grant of Contract Carriage Permit in Uttarakhand: The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Form SR-21
2. Rs 200/- Court Fees
3. 2 copy of Passport size photograph of Applicant
4. Affidavit on Stamp Paper
5. No Objection Certificate issued by concerning registering authority
6. Proof of address

For grant of Stage Carriage Permit in Uttarakhand: The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Form SR-26
2. Rs 200/- Court Fees
3. 2 copy of Passport size photograph of Applicant
4. Affidavit on Stamp Paper
5. No Objection Certificate issued by concerning registering authority
6. Proof of address

For grant of Private Service Vehicle Permit in Uttarakhand: The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

5. No Objection Certificate issued by concerning registering authority

For grant of Temporary Permit in Uttarakhand: The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

For grant of Goods Permit (State) in Uttarakhand – The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Form SR-22
2. Rs 100/- Court Fees
3. Affidavit on Stamp Paper
4. No Objection Certificate issued by concerning registering authority
5. ID Proof

For grant of Goods Permit (National Permit) in Uttarakhand – The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Form 48 and Form 46
2. Rs 200/- Court Fees
3. Affidavit on Stamp Paper
4. No Objection Certificate issued by concerning registering authority
5. ID Proof
6. 2 copy of Passport size photograph of Applicant.

NOTE: These fee rates are subject to change. The details of fee rates should be referred to in the latest amended Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 and Uttarakhand Motor Vehicle Rules, 2011.
