Government Holiday List in India for 2024
Fresh guidelines for holiday schedules in 2023 were unveiled by the Indian Central Government on November 16th, 2022. These guidelines will apply to all government offices located in Delhi or New Delhi. Check out the Govt announcement for further details. The vacation schedule for 2024 has already been coordinated and finalized. Once the official declaration is made by the authorities, the holiday timetable for 2024 will be updated accordingly below.

Fourteen Gazetted Holidays 2024

Twelve Optional Holidays 2024
Every year, the DoPT rolls out an index of alternate holidays for government offices in New Delhi. These holidays are not obligatory but rather an addition to the already mandated 14 days off. The catalogue encompasses festivities that hold local importance, as well as those celebrated by specific religious or communal groups.
