Obtaining a “Learner’s License” is the first step towards driving a motor vehicle. To get a learner’s permit, applicants must submit an application to the licencing authority in the jurisdiction where they reside or conduct business. Test for Learner’s License in Assam

The applicant for a learner’s permit must pass a preliminary exam administered by the licencing authority. The test will be administered by the Inspector of Motor Vehicles, and the candidate must demonstrate sufficient knowledge of traffic signs and signals as well as road regulations.
