Educational Requirements, Physical and Medical Standards: As per Extent Rules. 40,000 individuals to be recruited in 2022 and the numbers to progressively increase to 1.2. lakh. Employment opportunities in Merchant Navy Six services avenues for induction announced. State Governments announce preference for State Police recruitment and other Government jobs. Corporate houses express a desire to recruit Agniveers after completion of their service.
